Entering the provincial championships ranked 6th in Ontario (following a Premier and a Grand Prix 5th place finish) expectations were high for our 18U Elites ... what was not expected was going 1 win and 7 losses in our first two days of competition. The team was given the task of emotionally regrouping after an unquestionably disappointing pre-Sunday performance; it would have been easy to just shut it down and continue to under-perform. Throughout Sunday's Division 1 Tier 2 play-offs, to the dismay of their opponents, the Elites played to the level they were accustomed and rolled to gold winning four straight matches by defeating Pegasus, Durham Attack, Guelph and then Pakmen Black. The gold medal opponent offered little resistance as Barrie won 25-20, 25-15. A special thanks to James Pauze who was able to join his teammates and offer inspiration for all in attendance.

Congratulations to our graduating class; (back) Coach Gross, Dalan, Liam, Max, Logan, Ian, Jake, Coach House (front)James, Owen, Will, Regent (absent) Dante and Coach Saxby
