Congratulations to our own Director of Development, David Gross, for having been named as the Assistant Coach for our boys Team Ontario Black, provincial team this coming summer. This is his fourth placement with the high performance program.

"I have a previous relationship with Head Coach Steve Delaney (currently the Head Coach of the Brock University women's team) and I look forward to working with him in this role. As the Assistant Coach (defensive coordinator) for the Guelph University men's team this season, I hope to transfer the defensive systems and skills I have been developing with them to our provincial team athletes. My work with the Barrie Elites has sharply benefitted my personal development, with regards to athlete development, immensely and this placement with the provincial team is, without question, as a result of the opportunities to work with our Elites' athletes across the age divisions. The placement with the province will begin next month when I will be travelling to Thunder Bay to conduct both athlete and coach development clinics as well as beginning the "athlete identification" process. It is a full Spring to Summer commitment with our competition phase peaking in mid-July when the team competes in the USA High Performance Championships in Fort Lauderdale Florida."
Congratulations Coach David the Barrie Elites are so very proud of your tremendous accomplishments!!! Let’s Go Team O!!!

Congratulations Coach David! The Elites could not be more proud!
