OVA Early Contact Initiative

The OVA’s Early Contact initiative is designed for players 15 and under and coaches who are looking to find the most appropriate entry point for volleyball along the OVA pathway.

“ Under the Early Contact rules, players can find which style of play is most comfortable for them through 4v4 and 6v6 rallyball and traditional non-specialized volleyball. This flexibility will now increase developmentally-appropriate competition opportunities for younger players while providing the best experience possible for long term retention and success.”
